How many of you people can confidently write something in hindi , without any errors? Mind you, it should be flawless. How many of you can learn a particular language say telugu , tamil , gujrathi ect. and write something in it without any errors? Relax guys, im not going to put any exam now.
Although my mother tongue is telugu i can hardly write my name in it. The reason being,Firstly, my second language was hindi and secondly i often failed in that too. But the desire to write in telugu didn't come down. Do you guys think i learnt it. A big Noooooooo.....!!!! Life would have been much easy if we could use our own languages to chat rather than using english version of them. Tachyon technologies has now come out with "Quillpad" a website where one can write in 10 diff languages with 100% accuracy in the same way we type english version of it during chatting. It sounds really great, right? well have a look at quillpad.com yourself and start writing in the language you want. I already showed my mother ; who always says i can never write i telugu ; "ma amma chala manchidi, ipatninchi inka telugu tho bali aypothadi " . So enjoy the freedom of writing.
Also do have a look at newseum.com which gives 744 front pages of diff news papers over 68 countries :)
Gud day :)

Bhuvan : Desi version of google earth
Bhuvan brought victory and a tax waver for a period of 3 years to his team, as well as all his fellow villagers in the movie lagaan by winning a cricket match against the britishers.
But now, the same name has brought a pride moment for the entire nation on the Independence Day. ISRO’s new beta Bhuvan promises to do a lot more than G-Earth for India-specific users. It offers quicker data refreshment (the satellite pictures will be newer). It offers better streetby- street (indeed house-by-house) coverage with resolutions that will eventually be significantly better. It also offers a load of useful metadata ranging across climate, weather, demographics, and the historical values of above. It allows easy measuring and scaling and one-click snapshot of maps. This is brilliant. The next version incorporates Chandrayaan-data, including shots of the dark side of the moon..
But, Bhuvan requires a 10.7Mb download from the ISRO site. The site has not been mirrored and it has been down near- continuously due to high traffic since the launch. That was three days ago, and 72 hours is long enough for even beureaucracies to take corrective action. The GoI has both the technological ability and the bandwidth. The Election Commission and the Railways, for instance, handle humongous traffic. Anyway let’s assume a user gets there when the site is working, goes through the tedious registration downloads and completes set-up. Bhuvan can only be run off the site, post-login. This means permanent traffic jams. You will get kicked off regularly. It can only be run off broadband connections that are at least 756Kbps in speed.
Bhuvan suffers heavily vis-a-vis Google Earth and associated programs like Wikimapia. The image-mapping software from ISRO is clunky. It has many potentially useful and impressive features but it is being delivered in a condition that makes even hardened beta-users sweat. “Beta” carries large built-in disclaimers.
So Let’s hope that all these changes would be made soon and Bhuvan comes out with flying colors.
Happy Independence Day.

Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) :)
Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive emotionality and attention-seeking, including an excessive need for approval usually beginning in early adulthood. These individuals are lively, dramatic, enthusiastic, and flirtatious.
People with this disorder are usually able to function at a high level and can be successful socially and professionally. People with histrionic personality disorder usually have good social skills, but they tend to use these skills to manipulate other people and become the center of attention. They often fail to see their own personal situation realistically, instead tending to dramatize and exaggerate their difficulties. They may go through frequent job changes, as they become easily bored and have trouble dealing with frustration. Because they tend to crave novelty and excitement, they may place themselves in risky situations. All of these factors may lead to greater risk of developing depression.
The symptoms include:
Exhibitionist behavior.
Constant seeking of reassurance or approval.
Excessive dramatics with exaggerated displays of emotions.
Excessive sensitivity to criticism or disapproval.
Excessive concern with physical appearance.
A need to be the center of attention.
Low tolerance for frustration or delayed gratification.
Rapidly shifting emotional states that may appear superficial or exaggerated to others.
Tendency to believe that relationships are more intimate than they actually are.
Making rash decisions.
A mnemonic that can be used to remember the criteria for histrionic personality disorder is PRAISE ME :
P - provocative (or seductive) behavior
R - relationships, considered more intimate than they are
A - attention, must be at center of
I - influenced easily
S - speech (style) - wants to impress, lacks detail
E - emotional lability, shallowness
M - make-up - physical appearance used to draw attention to self
E - exaggerated emotions - theatrical
Surprisingly , Director shankar himself admitted that the reason for him shifting to movies from diplomo engineering has been Histrionic personality diorder. And the result has been Sensational blockbusters like GENTLEMEN , INDIAN , APARICHITHUDU , BOYS , JEANS , SHIVAJI . . .

wonderful lyrics . . .
Nigahen nigahon se milake to dekho. Naye logo se rishta bana kar to dekho
Hasratien dil me dabane se kya haasil hoga apne hoth hila kar to dekho
Khamoshi se kab hoti hai khwahishein poori dil ki baat bata kar to dekho
Jo hai dil mei use kar do bayaan khud ko ek baar jata kar to dekho
Aasmaan simat jayega aaghosh mein chahat ki baahein phaila kar to dekho
Dil ki baat bata kar to dekho
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpY1AqtIh9s
Translation :
Hold that gaze
Do linger a while
Make a new friend
By sharing a smile
Ardent desires
Struggling for voice
Unshackle your lips
That the heart may rejoice
Give life and expression
To the song in your soul
Let yearnings see light
Don't fear losing control
The sky with its bounty
The world with its charms
Is yours for the taking
So spread wide your arms
Let your heartbeats play out
Their tune without guile
And between two hearts
You'll have traversed a mile
Hasratien dil me dabane se kya haasil hoga apne hoth hila kar to dekho
Khamoshi se kab hoti hai khwahishein poori dil ki baat bata kar to dekho
Jo hai dil mei use kar do bayaan khud ko ek baar jata kar to dekho

Great Advertisement . . . "Vodafone's : Happy to help"
Vodafone's "Happy to help" Ad has been one of the best ones i have seen till date, second only to Bank of India's Ad. The reason i like Bank of India's ad the most is, the way it conveys the message to it's target audience.
Firstly, let me discuss about the Vodafone's Ad.
The Ad starts off with a little girl getting up from bed , early in the morning . The ad maker wants to convey a message over here viz " Right from the beginning " or " From the time one starts his day"; we are ready to help them (our customers). The girl might have been told to stretch her arms as soon as she wakes up . But the way she does that ,shows, she might have forgotten to do that and just responded a little later. The soothing music (at the beginning) with which the ad starts contains a gentle strumming of the guitar. It is mixed along with the beat in such a manner that it definitely grabs one's attention and makes them sit and watch the whole ad. Also, the child character shown was a young, little girl. The idea behind this might be, to show that " a person who needs help is innocent, just like a young , little girl ". And definitely, the girl shown in this ad , best suits that kind of a character. Mind you , the hero didn't enter yet.
In the very next scene, the girl starts wearing her shoes, in order to get ready to school . She starts searching her socks all over. Suddenly, we see the pug carrying it to her. Here the girl didn't actually ask anyone for help. The idea behind this is to convey that "We (the service provider) keep a watch on all our customer's activities and come into picture as soon as they require some help", "The help can also be expected even without their request. Such is our service. " :)
In the next scene , the girl catches the stamp (which needs to be stuck to the post card) with her left hand in order to seek help from the pug. This is because she doesn't have gum with her. No sooner the pug licks it , she sticks it to her post card. The funny thing here is that the girl doesn't even look at the pug.As shez cautious of the fact that it would do the needful. Here the pug positions itself in such a manner that the purpose is served without straining the customer. This shows that the service provided by the Company is very flexible and user friendly.
In the ending, the girl is seen traveling in a school bus. She suddenly recollects the fact that she forgot to wear her tie. And just after this , one can see the pug running behind the bus, carrying the tie. The idea behind this is to promote the company's same old caption : " Where ever you go our network follows." The best thing one can see in the entire Advertisement was that the little girl was never worried . Neither when she couldn't find her socks nor when she forgets her tie while going to school. This shows her (customer) belief in the service and that she got accustomed to the service. Also ,the lyrics of the song are written in such a manner that every line of it conveys the required message.
Well ,I could finally say , i loved this ad very much. :)
Will be back soon with some more posts..Till then Gudbye ;)
